what is bleach art?
hand-etched chrome effect created by controlled bleach application on dark fabric. no prints, no transfers, no digital process. just bleach, brushes, and time.
working with bleach takes time as every line is permanent and the best process happens in layers. that's why each piece takes 3-4 days to create.
the effect is permanent, washable, and becomes part of the garment itself. catches light differently as you move.
can bleach damage the fabric?
We source high-quality garments meant for years of hard wear.
then the bleach is fully neutralized, rinsed, and washed before shipping. the effect is permanent and won't continue to damage the fabric.
these pieces are made to be worn hard—fading, softening, showing the marks of being lived in. that's not damage. that's the piece completing its journey.
will the artwork fade or wash out?
no. the bleach effect is permanent - it's not a print or dye that sits on top of the fabric. the bleach chemically alters the fabric itself.
wash it as per our care instructions. knowing the artwork won't fade or wash out. the garment will soften and age like any high-quality piece, but the chrome effect remains.
why is my piece washed before I receive it?
every bleeche piece is washed at least once before leaving our studio. Washing serves three purposes:
- it ensures the bleach reaction is fully neutralised.
- it softens the fabric and sets the artwork so it looks and feels right.
- it lets us quality-check for stability and comfort.
you’ll receive something new, but already softened and safe to wear.
Care Instructions
every piece is neutralised and washed before it leaves our studio. this ensures the bleach reaction is complete and safe. to keep your piece looking its best:
- wash cold, gentle cycle.
- avoid harsh detergents or bleach.
- line dry or low heat settings on dryer
- iron on reverse side if needed.
think of it like any premium garment — treated with care, it will last as long as the garment itself.

how long does delivery take?
estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- australia: 5–10 business days
- new zealand: 7–14 business days
- us & canada: 10–20 business days
- uk & europe: 10–20 business days
- rest of world: 12–25 business days
will I get tracking?
yes, you’ll receive tracking details once your item is shipped.
my order hasn’t arrived. what should I do?
if it’s been more than the above days since dispatch, please email us — we’ll check in with our delivery partner and make sure it’s resolved.
can I commission a custom Piece?
yes.

3-5 days of dedicated creation. no repeats, no templates. fully documented and authenticated.

ordering & processing
how long does it take to process my order?
- 3–7 business days. each piece is hand-etched, neutralised, washed, and inspected before shipping.
do you offer express shipping?
not at this time — but we aim to dispatch everything promptly and include tracking on all orders. but contact if you need express and we will see if we can make it happen.
do you ship internationally?
yes, worldwide — and shipping and customs are fully covered. no extra charges at checkout, nothing due on delivery. we absorb those costs so your experience ends the way it should — with the art in your hands.
a note: we're currently unable to ship to brazil and russia due to customs costs that make it impossible to honour that promise. if you're in either of those countries, email us at hello@bleeche.com before ordering and we'll work out the best way forward together.

how do I know if it will fit?
each piece includes hand measurements (chest, length, sleeves). check the photo found within the product images.
compare these measurements to a sweater you already own and love.
match the dimensions. not guessing a generic size. you're matching actual measurements to your body.
one-of-one means one size only.
refunds & return
all sales are final. one-of-one wearable art doesn't restock.
exception: Returns accepted if item arrives damaged or significantly different from photos.
contact hello@bleeche.com within 7 days of delivery with photo evidence. refunds issued upon return of unworn, undamaged piece in original packaging.
why one-of-one?
each piece is genuinely unique and hand drawn and then painted in bleach. when it sells, that exact design is gone forever. not restocked. not reprinted or reproduced.

what is the fragments club?
a monthly membership for people who want to be part of the work before it's finished.
every month you receive a signed & numbered 6×9 print, access to the digital magazine, behind-the-scenes members area content, and early access to every tuesday drop. keepers ($29/mo) also receive a hand-painted origin fragment patch — one-of-one bleach art on fabric, tina's first marks of the month before the main piece existed.
